Dhiraj Sahu:Hours after ₹300 crore was found hidden on the premises of a group of liquor distilleries in Odisha connected to MP Dhiraj Sahu, Malviya posted.
Amit Malviya, the head of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s National Information & Technology Department, attacked Rahul Gandhi and the Congress party on Saturday for conducting income tax raids at the offices of the party’s MP, Dhiraj Sahu, in Jharkhand, Bengal, and Odisha. “Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra was actually a journey to connect the thieves of India,” Amit Malviya wrote on X. The center of corruption is Congress, or #CorruptionKiDukan. A live example of this is the nearly ₹300 crore that was found hidden from the Congress Rajya Sabha MP Dheeraj Sahu’s Jharkhand home.
Amit Malviya’s post was made just hours after the Income Tax (I-T) Department, through raids, seized ₹300 crore from the premises of a group of liquor distilleries in Odisha that is associated with Congress MP Dhiraj Sahu. The chairman of the company that produces extra-neutral alcohol is Uday Shanker Prasad, while Ritesh Sahu, Dhiraj’s son, serves as managing director.
Regarding the raids, Sahu and the Congress party came under fire from additional BJP officials and Union ministers. Dharmendra Pradhan, a union minister, stated: “When one of its MPs is raided, Congress needs to respond.” They must reveal to whom this black money belongs. This is a cause for concern.”
Anurag Thakur, a Union minister and leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party, meanwhile, stated, “The biggest question is why Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi always speak against demonetisation. The Congress frequently raises concerns about the Enforcement Directorate and Central Bureau of Investigation because corruption always exists wherever there is a Congress.
On Wednesday, the raids started in West Bengal, Jharkhand, and Odisha. Authorities stated that the company accused of tax evasion is Boudh Distillery Private Limited, a partnership firm of Baldeo Sahu & Group of Companies.
